Q: Can I apply online?
A: Yes, you can apply online. Click here to access the online application form.
Q: When is the application completion deadline?
A: The deadline dates are as follows, Spring semester, October 15, Summer, March 1, and Fall semester, April 1. Please be aware that this is not a postmark date nor an initial online application date. Applications not complete by the published date will be withdrawn from consideration, so apply as early as possible. Review the Program Application Completion Deadlines
Q: What is the requirements for entrance into the program?
A: Required program materials, GRE, 2 recommendation letters, and goal statement and resume.

Q: What is the program format?
A: All courses will be offered online via ULearn. ULearn is the learning management system used at Georgia State University. Some courses will be combination of synchrounous and asynchronous meetings. All synchronous meetings will be held in Elluminate Live. Elluminate Live is a web conferencing program that allows virtual meetings.
Q: Can I enroll in the program if I reside out of state?
A: You do not have to be a resident of Georgia to apply. The program is available to all students in and out of state.
Q: Should I need with an advisor before applying to the program?
A: Each semester we hold advising sessions during the Professional Advisement Week (PAW). In addition, students are encouraged to meet with their assigned advisor once they receive the acceptance letter and regularly during their program of study.
Q: Do I need to travel to campus at any point during a semester?
A: You will not be required to travel to campus at any point during a semester.
Q: How long Do I need to travel to campus at any point during the program?
A: You will not be required to travel to campus during the program.
Q: How long does the program take to complete?
A: On average most students in the program take 1 1/2 to 2 years to complete the program requirements.
Q: What if I wanted to take courses on campus?
A: Some courses from the elective list and others from the core, outside the department, are sometimes offered on campus for students who would also like to have face-to-face learning experiences.
Q: What about Internships?
A: You need to have at least 24 credit hours to enroll in the internship course. We try to help our students locate internships but we also encourage them to seek out ideal opportunities linked to their future goals as they go through the program..
Q: How are online courses organized?
AWe use ULearn and Elluminate vClass for our online courses. Each course is organized differently deepening on whether it is a synchronous or asynchronous and each instructor will notify you of nature of each course and class meeting times as necessary.
